Textured Flower Suncatcher, Blue and Red Flowers Suncatcher, Fused Glass Suncatcher, Kniphofia.

A bright moment of summer on a dull day.

I created the design using glass frit and glass paint, before fusing in my kiln at 760 degrees Celsius. This temperature fused all the glass and paint together, whist keeping some texture to the glass, giving it a pleasing 3d effect.

The Blue and Red Flowers Suncatcher is approximately 170 mm high by 70 mm wide and comes hung on a lovely ribbon.
