Art Nouveau Suncatcher, Textured Poppy Design, Fused Glass Sun Catcher, Red on Green.

A bright moment of summer on a dull day.

I created the design using Art glass, frit and glass paint, which was assembled on a piece of unique, hand rolled green and opaline glass. This was then fused in my kiln at 760 degrees Celsius. This temperature fused all the glass and paint together, whist keeping some texture to the glass, giving it a pleasing 3d effect.

The Art Nouveau Suncatcher is approximately 270 mm high by 100 mm wide and comes hung on a lovely ribbon.
It is a beautiful statement piece.
