Dante, Red and White Rectangular Dish, Art Glass.

Beautiful contemporary rectangular dish, made from red and white streaky special one off production glass, which I have named 'Dante', due to it bringing images in my mind of an inferno.

This would make a stunning mantlepiece, or table display piece.

Dish measures 295mm by 130mm and approx. 40mm high.

Each dish is produced by layering the glass, before firing in my kiln at up to 800 degrees Celsius for 12 hours. The glass is then fired again in a mould at up to 700 degrees Celsius to produce the dish.
As a handmade piece, each one will be different, but will have the same style.

The glass used is a special hand rolled and streaked glass, which is a one off production from Bullseye glass. This means that this piece is unique and can never be reproduced exactly the same.
